Accelerated Reader Goes Home!  We have now added a new feature to the Accelerated Reader program called Home Connect. This is a fun, easy-to-use, easy-to-understand feature that allows you and your child to view his/her AR progress from home or any other place that has an internet connection.  An informational letter explaining how you can access your child’s records will be sent home.

Accelerated Reader (AR) is a computerized program that helps each student reach his/her maximum reading potential. 

AR is a program that increases students' comprehension and fosters a love for reading.  At the same time, it also personalizes reading instruction for students who need extra help.

3.  You Get Information.
4.  Student Earns Points and Rewards.
5.  Student Earns Grades.

The Parkview Elementary School Library welcomes donated “like-new” books to our school library collection or classroom collections. All donations will be acknowledged. All donations will be subject to the same selection criteria as purchased resources.

If any donation is not selected for inclusion in the collection, the gifted material will be passed on to a more appropriate recipient. Types of Books Needed: Picture Books – Copyright date not an issue, although need new titles as well as standard titles, classic titles, favorite authors, award winners.
